Most travellers are choosing between three things: length of stay, number of entries, and whether they can extend once they are already inside the country. A 30-day visa suits a holiday or a family visit. A 60-day visa makes sense when you have work meetings spread across weeks, or you are helping family settle in. Multiple entry only pays for itself if you genuinely expect to leave and return within the validity window.
Transit is a separate case. If you are connecting through a UAE airport and want to leave the terminal, the 96-hour transit route is usually cheaper and faster than a full visit visa — but it depends on your onward ticket and your nationality.
