A Schengen short-stay visa covers visits of up to 90 days in any 180-day period across the Schengen area. From the UAE it is a documentation exercise: the consulate is deciding whether your trip is genuine, funded, and likely to end with you coming back.
Which country do you apply to?
You apply to the country you will spend the most nights in. If nights are evenly split, you apply to your point of entry. Getting this wrong is one of the more avoidable reasons applications are rejected before they are even assessed.
Building the file
Your itinerary, accommodation bookings, flight reservations, employment and salary evidence, bank statements, UAE residence status, and travel insurance all need to tell one consistent story. A hotel booking in a city your itinerary does not mention undermines the whole file.
Where UAE residents get caught
Short UAE residence history, a recently opened bank account, or salary that does not obviously fund the stated itinerary. None of these are automatically fatal, but each needs to be anticipated and answered inside the application rather than left for the consulate to interpret.
Timing
Appointment availability is usually the constraint rather than processing. For summer and December travel, start months rather than weeks ahead.

Do I need to book flights before applying?
You generally need a reservation rather than a paid ticket. We will tell you what form of booking is appropriate for the consulate you are applying to.
Do you guarantee approval?
